⚠️ Weapon Prop Guidelines for RQXL! ⚠️
To all adventurers & cosplayers — we’re excited to see your amazing weapon props! We know how much effort and creativity are imbued into crafting them, and we can’t wait to see them in action!
While you're having fun and showing off your awesome creations, please take note of the following guidelines before bringing your props to RQXL:
✅ Allowed Props:
– Must be made of non-metal materials (foam, plastic, etc.)
– Must be within 2 meters in length or width
– Should have rounded or blunt edges and be safe for crowded environments
– Please keep props in a bag during transport to avoid public concern
❌ Not Allowed:
– Metal props of any kind
– Sharp or pointed items
– Hazardous materials (e.g. real blades, explosives, flammable items)
– Real weapons (e.g. katana, karambit knives, butterfly knives, metal baseball bats)
The guidelines are in place to ensure everyone’s safety while having fun in an enclosed space. Safety is our top priority.💯

📌 Military / Combat-Themed Cosplay Guidelines
We absolutely love military and combat-themed cosplayers — your outfits are always cool, detailed, and often quite the investment! It’s clear how much heart goes into your craft, and we’re excited to see your creativity on display.
To ensure everyone can enjoy your cosplay safely, and to maintain public comfort and awareness, here are some RQXL event rules:
✅ Allowed:
✅Fictional characters with military or combat-style outfits
✅Masked characters are welcome! However, you may be politely asked to briefly remove your mask during entry checks for identification and safety purposes
✅Prop firearms must have brightly marked tips (e.g. orange, red) to clearly show they are not real
✅For extra clarity, fully brightly colored props (like toy-style or Nerf-like) are highly encouraged
❌ Not Allowed:
❌Real-world military uniforms, regardless of country or branch
❌ Prop firearms with any firing functionality (e.g., shooting pellets, plastic bullets, etc.)
❌Sharp props, including realistic-looking knives, blades, or tools (e.g. utility knives, bayonets, swords)

🔔 General Cosplay Attire Guideline
We welcome all cosplayers to express their creativity and passion through character portrayal. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, please observe the following attire guidelines:
✅ Allowed:
💪 Costumes inspired by battle-focused or action-centric characters, which may include shirtless or minimal upper-body designs, are allowed as long as they are presented respectfully and do not cause discomfort to the public.
🥰 Outfits should remain appropriate for a family-friendly, indoor convention space.
🚫 Not Allowed:
⚠️ Costumes based on adult-themed concepts, especially those involving excessive exposure or use of intimate wear (e.g., undergarments worn as masks or thong-based attire).
🔞 Even if the outfit is true to the original character design, if it is not suitable for a general public venue, it will not be allowed.
RQXL reserves the right to request modifications or deny entry if attire is deemed inappropriate for the event space.
